RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To counsel both junior and senior students and also educate senior students about what constitutes ragging as per the latest UGC/AICTE guidelines
- To inform parents and their wards about anti-ragging rules and the consequences of ragging activities, at the time of admission
- To constitute anti-ragging squad and keep continuous vigilance on all students
- To observe students and their activities in and out of the college hours & out of campus
- To observe seniors and their activities at bus stops and other approximating places
- To identify the various sources and remedies to watch and control ragging related issues
- To conduct various activities conducted by committee members by surprise visits at various locations like canteen, parking, bus etc.
- To organize Seminars on Ragging Act
- To take strict action on the violators of Ragging Act as per AICTE Regulations
- The committee will meet periodically and whenever required.
